Woodbridge Motel Robbed At Gunpoint, Police Say
Breaking: The Forge Inn on Rt. 9 in Woodbridge Township was robbed at gunpoint last Wednesday morning, Aug. 9.
WOODBRIDGE, NJ — The Forge Inn on Rt. 9 in Woodbridge Township was robbed at gunpoint last Wednesday, Aug. 9, according to Woobridge police.
At approximately 9:46 a.m. last Wednesday, Aug. 9, Woodbridge police were called to the Forge Inn for a report of a robbery. The on-duty manager, a woman, stated that a man entered the hotel lobby and asked for a room. The manager replied that yes, a room was available, and at that point the man pulled out a handgun.
The manager ran out of the lobby and when she returned the cash drawer was on the floor. An unknown amount of cash was taken.

The description of the suspect is a light-skinned black male, approximately 5’8” tall with blond tips on the end of his hair. This incident comes the day before a woman on Douglas St. in Fords was carjacked at gunpoint in front of her house.
