WOODBRIDGE, NJ — It just became easier to access the Middlesex County Greenway in Woodbridge!

On Wednesday, Woodbridge opened a brand-new access in Fords to the county greenway, a 3.5-mile shady walking, biking and running trail that runs through Metuchen, Edison and Woodbridge. The 42-acre corridor was purchased by Middlesex County in 2002.

This new entrance is on East William Street in Fords. Woodbridge Twp. constructed the entrance, and added additional off-street parking there. Before Wednesday's opening, there was only one entry point to the Greenway in Woodbridge, at Raymond Street. Now there are two.
