Woodbridge Police: Man Sexually Assaulted 12-Year-Old Girl He Met On Facebook
The 20-year-old man was arrested when Woodbridge police spotted him and the girl in a car early Thursday morning, authorities said.

Police arrested a Union County man who they say sexually assaulted a 12-year-old girl he met on Facebook.
Larousse Joseph, 20, of Elizabeth was arrested Thursday and charged with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault and endangering the welfare of the child.
Joseph was arrested after Woodbridge police officers on patrol saw him and the girl engaging in sexual relations in a car parked on Martin Street in Woodbridge at 12:31 a.m. Thursday, according to a news release from Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey and Woodbridge Police Director Robert Hubner.

Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office Detective George Stilwell and Woodbridge Detective Timothy Laughery determined Joseph met the girl on Facebook, authorities said.
Joseph remains in custody. Bail had not yet been set.
