Woodbridge Police Drug Takeback Is This Saturday, April 22

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — The Woodbridge Police Department will participate in the National Prescription Drug Take Back Day this Saturday, April 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Bring old and unused drugs and medication to Woodbridge Police headquarters, located in the lower level of the Woodbridge Municipal Building, 1 Main Street.

A secure Project Medicine Drop Box is located in the main lobby of Woodbridge Police headquarters.

Prescription drug abuse is the fastest growing drug problem in the nation.

Expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs that are potentially dangerous if left in the family medicine cabinet, especially if teens can find them.

Woodbridge residents should bring unused and expired prescription drugs (if possible in the original prescription container but not required), powders, pills, liquids and unused medications (syringes, needles and sharps are not accepted).
