Woodbridge police are investigating a series of vehicle burglaries that occurred on four streets in the township.

Woodbridge police are investigating a series of vehicle burglaries that occurred on four streets in the township.

Eight vehicles were burglarized between 8:30 p.m. Thursday and 5 a.m. Friday on Lyon and Bucknell avenues, Woodbridge Terrace and Crescent Street, according to Capt. Roy Hoppock.

Police said it appears as if all of the vehicles, which include a Lexus, Chevy Suburban, Dodge Ram, Ford pick-up truck, Honda Accord, BMW and a Jeep Compass, were left unlocked.

A laptop computer, sunglasses, a camera, loose change, credit cards and headphones were among the items that were stolen, the captain said in a news release.
