Woodbridge Police Take Kids Christmas Shopping At Local Toys R Us
Woodbridge police will take 17 kids shopping this Sunday at the Rt. 1 Toys R Us, and then breakfast with Santa at the Iselin firehouse.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — This Sunday, Dec. 3, the Woodbridge police PBA will be holding an event at the local Toys R Us on Rt. 1 in Iselin. Woodbridge police officers will escort 17 children from Woodbridge Township and their families as they walk through the store picking out Christmas presents.
All the toys will be paid for by Woodbridge police PBA Local 38, as well as many local sponsors. These are local families in need who otherwise would perhaps not be able to purchase Christmas gifts this year.
The Toys R Us shopping trip will be from 8-9 a.m. Sunday. After their shopping trip, the 17 kids and their families will go back to the Iselin firehouse on Green Street in Iselin for a home-cooked breakfast with Santa, with food donated by the Rt. 1 Dunkin' Donuts and Knot Just Bagels on Main Street in Woodbridge.
