Woodbridge Public Health Day To Be Held Saturday

The Woodbridge event will include a cooking demonstration, medical screenings, and activities for kids, including a rock climbing wall.

A morning full of free health and wellness events will be held Saturday in Woodbridge.

Woodbridge Mayor John E. McCormac, the Woodbridge Township Department of Health and Human Services and the Mayor’s Wellness Campaign will hold “Public Health Day - 2015.” The event runs from 9 a.m. to noon at the Woodbridge Health Center, 2 George Frederick Plaza, according to a township news release.

The program will include information sessions, medical screenings, physical fitness programs, and activities for children, including a bounce house and rock climbing wall.

The Woodbridge Municipal Alliance will offer substance abuse information.

There will also be a healthy cooking demonstration by a Wegmans of Woodbridge chef.
