Woodbridge's Sept. 11 Memorial Service Is Wednesday Night

The Woodbridge High School Choir will sing at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11 in Woodbridge's 9/11 memorial park in front of town hall.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — Woodbridge and the Woodbridge Township Veterans Alliance will remember the 18th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks this Wednesday at 6 p.m.

This will be a memorial service honoring the nine Woodbridge Township residents who tragically lost their lives in the 9/11 terror attacks. The program will offer a “Salute-of-Support” to Woodbridge Township police, fire fighters, first aid squad and EMTs and all emergency management personnel who respond to crisis — not just in time of disaster, but every day, in every way.

The nine Woobridge residents who died in 9/11 are: Edward Allegretto, Marilyn Bautista, Patrick Dunn, John Adam Larson, James Lynch, Charles Mauro, Tonyell McDay, Narender Nath and Sankara Velamuri.

Woodbridge Mayor John E. McCormac will be joined by state, county and municipal officials, the Woodbridge Interfaith Clergy Council and the Woodbridge High School Choir at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11 at the 9/11 Memorial Park in front of town hall. (One Main Street, Woodbridge)
