Woodbridge, Perth Amboy Rite Aids Now COVID Testing, No Symptoms

The testing begins Monday, June 22 at the Rite Aid on Washington Road in Parlin. You don't need to have symptoms to be tested.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — A Rite Aid in Woodbridge and another in Perth Amboy will serve as COVID-19 self-swab testing sites starting this Monday, June 22.

The sites will be located at the Rite Aid stores in Parlin at 3553 Washington Road and in Perth Amboy at 76 Smith Street.

This will be done through the store’s drive-through window and will use self-swab nasal tests overseen by Rite Aid pharmacists. Testing will be available from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. (Mon-Fri) and 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. (Sat-Sun).

The test is usually covered by insurance. You must register in advance for a test and important to note is that anyone can be tested at these two sites, even if they don't have symptoms.

All adults 18 years of age or older, even if they are not exhibiting virus symptoms, are eligible for testing and can begin pre-registering online today at www.riteaid.com in order to schedule an appointment.
