Woodbridge School Board Suspends Principal

The Woodbridge BOE suspended the principal following the results of an investigation into standardized tests, a published report said.

The Woodbridge Board of Education has suspended a local elementary school principal after the state found she encouraged cheating on standardized tests, according to NJ.com.

Cathie Bedosky, who is the principal of Ford Avenue School 14, was suspended with pay Thursday, and her retirement, effective June 30, was accepted by the board, according to the newspaper.

A state investigation determined she encouraged cheating in 2010 and 2011, although she denied it to investigators, according to NJ.com.
