Woodbridge Schools Now Open Good Friday For Snow Makeup

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — The Woodbridge Twp. Board of Education made two very important changes Monday night to the 2017/2018 school calendar to make up for all the snow days taken this year:

• Students will go to school this Friday (Good Friday), March 30
• And they will also go to school on Friday, June 22.

The last day of school for Woodbridge this year was supposed to be June 21, but it will now be June 22.

"The makeup snow days for all Woodbridge Township schools will be Friday, March 30 and Friday, June 22," the district announced.

While the change may anger some parents, both days will be early dismissal days, the district said. Parents were just informed Tuesday that their kids must attend school this Friday.

The decision means spring break is unaltered: Spring Break remains the same from April 2 – April 6.
