All are welcome for a celebration of Irish heritage and culture. This is the 50th year of the parade, so expect it to be one of their biggest and best yet.
The parade steps off at 1:30 p.m. sharp at Woodbridge High School, hits Freeman Street and Linden Avenue, then marches down Amboy Avenue and ends at — where else! the best spot — in front of Woodbridge Brewing Company on Main Street.

The parade is funded and organized by the all-volunteer Woodbridge American Irish Association.
This year, Irish Man of the Year is Ed Wehrenberg. He built many of the handicapped ramps in Woodbridge and called the honor of being named Irish man of the year "totally unexpected" and said he was very humbled. Irish Lady of the Year is Karen McCrory; Brittany Bader is Miss American Irish and Alesandra McFadden is Lady in Waiting.
The Parade Chair is Sean Daly.
The Woodbridge American Irish Association does so much more than just put on the parade every year: They are a cultural and civic association that meets monthly, sponsors the Justin McCarthy Scholarship, maintains the Charlie Shaughnessy Park, visits veterans in the Menlo Park Veterans Home, puts up handicap ramps, etc.
They run a Club Pub at 95 Port Reading Avenue, which they just recently furnished.
