Woodbridge Ticket Wins $1,000 A Week for Life in Cash4Life Drawing

One lucky person in New Jersey is kicking off the new year with a second-tier prize in the Monday, Jan. 5, Cash4Life drawing.

The second-tier prize in the Cash4Life game is $1,000 a week for life. The second-prize winning ticket was purchased from Shoppers Express, located at 525 Avenel Street, in the Avenel section of Woodbridge, according to NJ.com.

The winning ticket matched the five white balls in the drawing, but not the Cash Ball. The winning numbers were 12, 23, 29, 38 and 43, and the Cash Ball number was 03, according to New Jersey Lottery officials.

“Congratulations to the New Jersey Lottery Cash4Life second-prize winner and to all of the New Jersey players who won cash prizes,” said Carole Hedinger, New Jersey Lottery Executive Director. “It’s a thrilling way to begin a new year and I look forward to meeting the winner.”

Additionally, another 39,974 New Jersey Lottery players won a total of $179,237 in cash prizes in the Monday drawing.

The jackpot prize in the Cash4Life game is $1,000 a Day for Life, with a current cash value of $7,000,000, and the second-tier prize is $1,000 a Week for Life, with a cash value of $1,000,000, the New Jersey Lottery said. In addition to the “For Life” prizes, the Cash4Life game offers seven other prize levels with prizes ranging from $2.00 to $2,500.
