Woodbridge Turnpike Rest Stop Sells $100K Winning Lottery Ticket

The convenience store inside the Turnpike rest stop in Woodbridge sold a lottery ticket that won the $100,000 prize Monday night.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — The convenience store inside the Turnpike rest stop in Woodbridge sold a lottery ticket that won the $100,000 prize Monday night.

The ticket was sold at Applegreen Edison in Woodbridge.

That ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn Monday night, winning the $50,000 third-tier prize. Because that ticket was purchased with Power Play, it multiplied the prize to $100,000.

A ticket sold at a Wawa in North Wildwood won the $1,000,000 prize Monday night. It matched five of the five white balls.

The winning numbers for the Monday, February 28, drawing were: 07, 21, 39, 47, and 55. The Red Power Ball number was 19. The Power Play was 2X.
