Woodbridge Unveils New Mobile Health Van

On Friday, Woodbridge Twp. will unveil the brand-new van at the Evergreen Senior Center​. It can provide adult and child exams, and more:

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — On Friday, Woodbridge Township will unveil a brand-new full-service mobile health van at the Evergreen Senior Center.

The van is funded and staffed by nurses from the Woodbridge Twp. Health Department.

It will provide a range of wellness services, including adult and child health exams, blood pressure, weight, height, BMI, glucose testing, routine vaccinations, health-related screenings for hearing, cholesterol, bone density, skin cancer, vision, stroke and fall risk assessments, children’s back-to-school physicals and preventative and healthcare education.

The van will officially be unveiled at 11 a.m. Friday at the Evergeen Senior Center at 400 Inman Avenue in Colonia.

The van will routinely show up at Woodbridge senior centers and senior residential housing communities, all the town libraires, community centers, under-served communities and public concerts, the Woodbridge farmers' market, festivals and events.
