Woodbridge Woman Charged With $5,980 Theft At Short Hills Mall

MILLBURN, NJ — A Woodbridge woman is accused of trying to steal $5,980 in luxury clothes from the Short Hills Mall earlier this month.

At 2 p.m. on Oct. 7, Millburn police officers were called to the Louis Vuitton at the Mall at Short Hills for a report of theft.

Police say Louis Vuitton store workers said a 36-year-old Woodbridge woman selected a tan jacket and pair of shoes valued at $5,980, and attempted to leave without paying.

She was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting. She was later released on her own recognizance.
