Youth Counselor Charged with Touching Boy, 16
An Old Bridge youth counselor was charged with improperly touching a boy under the age of 16.

Old Bridge, NJ - An Old Bridge youth counselor has been arrested and charged with improperly touching a boy under the age of 16 on multiple occasions, Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew Carey and Old Bridge Police Chief William Volkert said Friday.
Irving Acevedo, 42, of the Laurence Harbor section of Old Bridge was arrested Thursday and charged with sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child. The victim was not one of the children who received counseling from Acevedo, a mental health specialist, the prosecutor said.
As of Friday afternoon, Acevedo was in custody, waiting for bail to be set.
