WOODBRIDGE, NJ — A youth cricket field is coming to Woodbridge. It will be built in the Iselin section; Woodbridge Twp. did not say exactly where.
The $1.2 million to build the field (and other projects) was secured by Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr., the congressman who represents Woodbridge in Washington, D.C.
Part of the $1.2 million will go to build two new playgrounds in Hopelawn and Fords, and the rest will be spent to build a new youth cricket field in Iselin.

Woodbridge Twp. did not answer when Patch asked where exactly these will be built.
Pallone also secured federal funding for Edison: In that town, Pallone secured $850,000 to expand programs, events and activities for seniors at the Minnie B. Veal Community Center.
