$1,500 In Cash Stolen From Unlocked Franklin Lakes Car: Police
The money was in a woman's purse that was left inside the unlocked car, police said.
FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. - Thousands of dollars in cash and gift cards were taken out of resident's car recently, police said.
A Creole Lane resident reported to police Sunday that sometime overnight her purse was taken out of her unlocked car, said Lt. John Bakelaar.
In the purse were $1,500 in cash and $1,200 in gift cards, Bakelaar.
The Detective Bureau is investigating the incident.
