2 Franklin Lakes Homes On The Same Street Burglarized: Police
BREAKING: The homes were entered through basement windows, police said.

FRANKLIN LAKES, NJ — Two Cheyenne Drive homes were burglarized Thursday, police announced.
One resident reported that his house was burglarized sometime after 10 a.m. and another homeowner said his house had been burglarized sometime between 11:15 a.m. and 12:45 p.m., said Capt. John Bakelaar.
Master bedrooms in both houses were targeted; the homeowners are compiling a list of missing items, the captain said.

Entry in the earlier incident was gained through a basement window that was broken out; a basement window in the later incident had been pushed in, Bakelaar said.
The Bergen County Sheriff Department's Bureau of Criminal Investigation processed each scene for evidence.
