Applications For $1,000 Wyckoff Scholarships Due Tuesday

WYCKOFF, NJ - Three $1,000 future municipal leaders scholarships are available to township high school juniors and seniors.

Applicants must write a 500-word essay explaining what their municipal government does best. Applications are available at either Ramapo High School or in the municipal clerk’s office in Wyckoff Town Hall at 340 Franklin Ave.

The New Jersey League of Municipalities is funding the statewide scholarship program to educate students about the role municipal government plays in their lives.

Applications and essays addressed to Mayor Kevin J. Rooney are due in town Administrator Robert Shannon’s office by March 10. Winners will be announced May 5.
