3 High-End Italian Restaurants Set For American Dream Complex

Restaurants will be a part of a 150,000-square-foot food hall overlooking New York City.

Three restaurants specializing in fine Italian cuisine will be featured in the American Dream center’s dining terrace, developer Triple Five announced Thursday.

The restaurants will be owned by the same people who own Carpaccio, a high-end restaurant based in Florida that has received high praise from diners on sites like Tripadvisor.com and Yelp.com.

“We are most inspired by our chefs and staff who have been with us for decades and their passion for our food, service and the customer’s overall dining experience,” said Tom Billante, president of Carpaccio. “Our foundation starts with recipes passed down from my mother and her family to which I knew that adding a simple blend of fine, fresh ingredients, paired with the same loving preparation and then finished with the perfect presentation in an elegant and intimate setting would create the exceptional and memorable dining experience that the Carpaccio name has become known for.”

The restaurants will be three of the 15 located on the terrace in a park-like setting with patio seating.

“We look forward to featuring multiple concepts from the Carpaccio family of restaurants in The Dining Terrace at American Dream,” said Don Ghermezian, president of Triple Five, the developer of the $5 billion retail and entertainment complex in the Meadowlands.

The 15 restaurants are a part of the center’s 150,000-square-foot food hall, along with 50 grab-and-go offerings, and the world’s first Kosher food court, all overlooking the Manhattan skyline.

The half-mile-long American Dream center will be divided into five connection sections. It will feature the largest indoor water and amusement parks in the world, an 800-foot-long indoor ski hill, and a 300-foot-tall observation wheel. There will also a LEGOLAND discovery center, a 4-D movie theater, and an aquarium with an underwater tunnel.

The center is slated to open in the summer of 2017.
