6-Year-Old Attacked By Raccoon Released From Hospital, Report Says
Rabies test results on animal should be known Friday.

Aryan Gavali, the 6-year-old boy who was attacked by a raccoon while walking to school Wednesday, was released from the hospital Thursday, The Record reported.
Gavali was walking to school with his mother in Elmwood Park when a raccoon jumped on him and began clawing and biting his face, police said.
A good Samaritan, Danny Walls, was in the area and saw the attack. He used a fiberglass pole to get the animal off Gavali and beat it to death, the report said.
