9 Juveniles Caught Drinking Alcohol In Franklin Lakes Saturday Night, Police Say

FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. — Police detained nine juveniles who were caught consuming alcohol Saturday night, said Capt. John Bakelaar.

The juveniles were detained after police responded to a report of a suspicious van on Delaware Lane shortly before 8 p.m., Bakelaar said.

The juveniles were released to their parents and complaints were forwarded to Bergen County Family Court.

In related news, after responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Pueblo Drive Saturday night, Jericho Manalo, 26, of Belleville, was charged with driving while intoxicated, Bakelaar said.
