BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A Garfield man arrested on cocaine possession and distribution charges is accused of using force against authorities who were executing a search warrant at his home.
Authorities received information that Safet Cajevic, 55, was allegedly distributing drugs in the borough, said Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal.
Cajevic was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, namely cocaine, and possession with intent to distribute after members of the Bergen County Narcotics Task Force, the county regional SWAT, county Sheriff's officers and the Garfield Police Department executed a search warrant at his residence.
