3,600 Heroin Doses Found In Car, Driver Arrested: Wyckoff Police
Breaking: A prop gun, 3 scales and 5 cell phones were found in the vehicle Scott C. Sweeney, 45, was driving, Wyckoff police said.

WYCKOFF, NJ — A New York man was arrested after police found 3,600 doses of heroin, a handgun and three digital scales in a vehicle during a traffic stop Dec. 12, Lt. Joseph Soto said.
Officer Robert Schlossberg saw a vehicle with several motor vehicle violations traveling on Route 208 at about 9 p.m., Soto said.
Schlossbert stopped the vehicle on Route 208 North and found 360 decks of heroin, three digital scales, a black prop handgun and five cell phones in the vehicle, Soto said.

Driver Scott C. Sweeney, 45, of Walden, New York was arrested and charged with possession of a schedule I narcotic, manufacturing and distributing a schedule I narcotic and possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to distribute, Soto said. Sweeney also had an outstanding warrant out on him from the Palisades Interstate Parkway Police Department. He was taken to the Bergen County Jail.
A passenger, Ashley H. Torres, 30, of Port Jervis, New York was charged with possession of a schedule I narcotic and had an outstanding warrant from Pike County, Pennsylvania, Soto said.

The cellphones, prop gun and vehicle were seized pending further investigation, Soto said.
