WYCKOFF, NJ — Sometimes it's nice to step away from your screens and enjoy an old-fashioned pastime.
Wyckoff will hold its 44th annual fishing derby this Saturday at Zabriskie Pond.
The event is for children age 15 and under, and they must bring their bucket, fishing gear, and barbless hooks. Worms will be provided.
This is a catch-and-release event, purely for the sport.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., the derby starts at 9, and prizes are announced around 10:15.
