WYCKOFF, NJ — While the area around Wyckoff was settled centuries ago, the town's voters officially changed its name from Franklin Township to Wyckoff on Nov. 2, 1926.
This weekend, the town will hold a massive free street fair with live music and later, fireworks.
The town has been adding vendors and acts throughout the year, releasing a schedule that runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Saturday, then includes fireworks and more festivities starting at 6 p.m.
"Looking forward to an awesome Street Fair Centennial Day celebration this coming Saturday," said Mayor Roger Lane.
First, the street fair on Main Street will include, from 11-4:
At 6 p.m. the action moves to Memorial Field at 195 Woodland Ave., with:
A range of food vendors will be available, from Cuban eats to pizza to snow cones (see some of the participants here).
