On Saturday, the town will hold a massive Centennial Day Street Fair with live music and later, fireworks.

The town has added new vendors and activities.

Among them, the animal rights group PETA will bring its dairy-free ice cream, which they will give out for free.

“The only thing sweeter than PETA’s vegan ice cream is knowing that no animals were harmed in the making of it,” said PETA President Tracy Reiman. “PETA invites everyone to visit our iScream truck and get loud for delectable dairy-free desserts that let cows and their calves live in peace." The truck will roll into the Centennial Day Street Fair when it opens at 11 a.m.

The Main Street portion of the fair will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with music, games, food, and other activities. The action picks up again at 6 p.m. at Memorial Field.

A shuttle has been announced to bring those parked at Pulis Field to Wyckoff Avenue. Find out more about that here.
