WYCKOFF, NJ — A Wyckoff man was arrested Tuesday for distributing child pornography and other offenses, said the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.
Brian C. Saracusa, 50, was charged after a weeks-long investigation by the Prosecutor's Cyber Crimes Unit into child endangerment, child sexual abuse material, and invasion of privacy, prosecutors said.
During the investigation, detectives determined that Saracusa had used the internet to create and distribute a computer-generated child pornography video, prosecutors said Tuesday. He also "photographed and recorded an adult on multiple occasions and in various states of undress without the adult’s consent or knowledge," prosecutors said.
On Tuesday, detectives searched Saracusa's home.
He was charged with second-degree distribution of child pornography, third-degree possession of child pornography, third-degree creation of deceptive visual media, and third-degree invasion of privacy, prosecutors said.
The complaint in the case said that Saracusa "did knowingly distribute digital files containing items depicting the sexual exploitation of a child, specifically by distributing ten digital files depicting a nude and/or sexually explicit pubescent child via the internet."
He was taken to the Bergen County Jail to await a first appearance in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack.
