APOLOGIES To Midland Park Police

IM SORRY.

I would like to apologize to the Midland Park Police, it's Cheif and anyone else with whom my article may have offended. Very simply, I am pro police and pro Midland Park police and the article was somewhat hypocritical to my 40 plus years experience with the team in my time here.

I only wanted to ask you all to simmer down a bit, cut some people a break and be a bit empathetic. Somehow my words and emotions got the best of me due to a few police interactions with friends and family the last few weeks. This coupled with personal duress drove me to place the frustration unfairly towards the Midland Park Police.

The townspeople also know the protection these officers provide our town, our children and our parents. They don't have evil intentions. They just became a bit zealous in trafficking the town and the article wrongly focused on the 5% they could do better versus the 95% they do great

Dear officsers, forgive my inappropriate and uncalled for statements. Please keep up the good work. (But if you would, lighten up a little on the traffics tickets).
