Too soon? Stores have set up their back-to-school displays. Here's how many days are left of summer vacation until public schools reopen.
WYCKOFF, NJ — While some parents are still figuring out the patchwork of childcare, day camp, and vacation for the rest of summer, stores like Walgreen's have already arranged their back-to-school displays, including blackboards for photos on the first day.
So how many days of summer vacation are left for public school parents, anyway?
Here in New Jersey, school almost always starts after Labor Day.

On June 26, Wyckoff's Board of Education approved the revised its 2023-2024 school calendar. Here is the document (and always check back for updates).
The first day of school is tentatively Wednesday, Sept. 7. Both Sept. 7 and Sept. 8 are early dismissal days.

The first holiday off is Monday, Sept. 25, for Yom Kippur.
As of Wednesday, July 19, there were 50 days left until the first day. Again, remember to check for updates closer to the date.
