Bergen County Breaks Ground On Riverside County Park Amphitheater
The $2.8 million project is funded by grants from the Bergen County Open Space Trust Fund and County Parks Capital Improvement dollars.

NORTH ARLINGTON, NJ — Bergen County officials broke ground today on a new project that aims to add a "focal gathering point" to the southern end of Riverside County Park.
The project will build a new amphitheater and comfort station, which will serve as a key gathering space, provide bathroom facilities, and act as a community performance area. It is also part of a larger effort to revitalize Riverside County Park, officials said.
"Today the County of Bergen broke ground on a new amphitheater and comfort station in Riverside County Park. Between the Boathouse already under construction right up the road, and this project, we are re-envisioning the face of Riverside County Park," said Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco.
