The third-generation bakery makes more than 100 different products everyday.
A third-generation Bergen County bakery celebrated 50 years in the business Friday.
The owners of Toufayan, one of the largest privately held specialty bread bakeries in the country, produce more than 100 varieties of baked goods daily.
"Toufayan Bakeries is a family business and we consider our employees and our extended community part of the family," said Karen Toufayan, vice president of marketing and sales for Toufayan Bakeries. "It was an honor to celebrate 50 years of business in the United States today."

Ridgefield Mayor Anthony Suarez issued a proclamation honoring the bakery Friday. The company also has two bakeries in Florida.
The bakery also gives back. Harry Toufayan loads his car up and distributes baked goods to police officers on patrol. Toufayan also donates to community-based and national institutions and shelters in need, including the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Multiple Sclerosis in New York, New Jersey, and Florida. The company also donates to natural disaster victims during recovery efforts.
