Bergen, Hudson Counties Lead Rallying NJ Housing Market

The strongest home sales in a steadily rebounding New Jersey housing market have come out of Bergen and Hudson counties, according to an NJTV report.

The latest report from the New Jersey Association of REALTORS found single family home sales rose almost 14 percent in August versus the same period in 2012. Median sale prices increased more than 4 percent and home building has risen approximately 30 percent so far in 2013. 

The strong numbers reported out of Bergen and Hudson counties typically come from the proximity of those counties to New York City.
