Bergen Landscaper Sexual Assaulted 2 Kids: Prosecutor
Carlos Gutierrez, 63, 'inappropriately touched' 2 kids while he was taking care of them, authorities said.
A Bergen County landscaper was arrested for sexually assaulting two children while he was caring of them, the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office announced.
Carlos Gutierrez, 63, of Wanaque was arrested Wednesday after the Hackensack Police Department received information that he had "inappropriately touched" two children while they were in his care, said acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo.
Authorities investigated and Calo was charged with two counts each of aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault by contact, and endangering the welfare of a child, Calo said.

Gutierrez was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending a detention hearing, which was scheduled for Tuesday morning.
