Bergen Man Arrested Had $450,000 Worth Of Drugs: Prosecutor
Jorge Perez, 43, had 1 pound of of meth on him and another 6 pounds at his home and in storage facilities, authorities said.

Authorities found a Hackensack man in possession of $450,000 worth of narcotics, including 7 pounds of methamphetamine, after receiving information he was distributing the substances throughout Bergen County, said Gurbir S. Grewal, county prosecutor.
Jorge Perez, 43, was arrested Friday after police approached him during an investigation and found him in possession of 1 pound of methamphetamine and $1,271, the prosecutor said.
Authorities found another 6 pounds of methamphetamine, 20 grams of cocaine, 9 ounces of marijuana and drug paraphernaliaat Perez's home and at storage facilities, Grewal said. The seized drugs have a street value of $450,000.

Perez was charged with first-degree possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance, in a quantity greater than 5 ounces, possession with the intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance, namely cocaine an possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance, namely marijuana, Grewal said.
Perez was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending a first appearance in Bergen County Central Judicial Processing Court.
