Bergen Man Charged With Sexually Assaulting Girl, 12
William Lopez Medina, 32, allegedly sexually assaulted the girl in Palisades Park, authorities said.
A Bergen County man has been charged with sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl.
William Lopez Medina, 32, was charged with aggravated sexual assault after the Palisades Park Police Department and the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office received information that Lopez-Medina inappropriately touched a 12-year-old girl July 28, said Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal.
Lopez-Medina was arrested Tuesday, the prosecutor said. He was also charged with sexual assault by sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child.

Lopez-Medina was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending a detention hearing Friday morning.
