Bergen Man Charged With Sexually Assaulting Juvenile
Hugo Remache, 41, allegedly engaged in sexual activity with a juvenile younger than 16, authorities said.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A Hackensack man was charged with aggravated sexual contact after he allegedly engaged in sexual activity with a child younger than 16, the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office announced Tuesday.
Hugo Remache, 41, was arrested Saturday following an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office and the Hackensack Police Department, said acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo.
Hackensack Police officers responded to a call for help on Friday. They learned that Remache had allegedly engaged in sexual activity with a juvenile who was younger than 16, Calo said.

Authorities investigated and Remache was arrested. In addition to the aggravated sexual contact charge, he was charged with first-degree aggravated sexual assault, aggravated sexual assault, and endangering the welfare of a child, Calo said.
A detention hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday in Hackensack.
