Bergen Man Had 2,400 Child Porn Images: Prosecutor

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A local man was arrested Thursday after an investigation revealed he distributed about 2,400 digital files of child pornography online, the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office announced.
Corey W. Barraclough, 27, of Northvale, was arrested after members of the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Cyber Unit executed a search warrant at his home as part of an investigation, said acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo.
The investigation revealed that Barraclough used the internet to view, possess, and distribute about 2,400 digital files depicting nude or sexually explicit images of prepubescent and pubescent children, Calo said.

The investigation also revealed that Barraclough was chatting online with young girls believed to be between the ages of 10 and 16, Calo said. Detectives from the New York City Police Department assisted with that aspect of the investigation.
Barraclough was not at home when the search warrant was executed, but was located near Port Jervis, New York with help from the Deerpark, New York Police Department, the prosecutor said.

Barraclough was charged with possession of child pornography, greater than 1,000 files and distribution of child pornography, greater than 1,000 files. The Deerpark Police Department took him into custody pending extradition.
