Bergen Man Had Hundreds Of Files Of Child Porn: Prosecutor

Sean Western, 37, had more than 25 videos and more than 100 photos of 'sexually explicit' kids on his computer, authorities said.

A Bergen County man was arrested after authorities found hundreds of photographs and dozens of videos of child pornography on his computer, authorities announced.

Sean M. Western, 37, of Dumont, was arrested Friday following an internet child pornography investigation, said acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo.

Authorities executed a search warrant at Western's home Friday. The investigation revealed that Western used the internet to look at, download, store, and distribute about 500 digital files showing "nude or sexually explicit prepubescent and pubescent children," Calo said.

Western was charged with distribution of child pornography in an amount greater than 25 video files, and possession of child pornography in an amount greater than 100, but less than 1,000, files, Calo said.

Western is due to appear in Bergen County Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.
