Bergen Man Sues Home Depot After Lumber Reportedly Falls On Him

The Wallington man was shopping at the Pine Brook store when he says the lumber fell on his head.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A Wallington man is suing Home Depot after he said lumber on his head in the retail chain's Pine Book store, NJ.com reported.

Patryk Molawka, 22, states that six two-by-four pieces of wood fell on his head as he reached for lumber on a shelf. He says the January 2016 incident left him permanently injured after it struck his head, hip, shoulder and neck, according to the report.

Molawka is reportedly suing for lost wages and medical bills.

A spokesperson for Home Depot did not return Patch's request for comment.
