Bergen Prosecutor Investigating Northvale Homicide, 1 In Custody

NORTHVALE, NJ — The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office is investigating a homicide that occurred at 151 Ludlow Avenue in Northvale. One person is dead, another is in custody, prosecutors said.

Northvale Police responded to the address around 8:30 a.m. following a report that a deceased individual had been found at that address. Responding officers searched the building to make sure there was no ongoing threat to the community, prosecutors said.

A suspect has been taken into custody, and no other individuals are believed to have been involved, prosecutors added.

An investigation is being conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Northvale Police Department. Prosecutors said more information will be released at a later time.
