Bergen Sheriff's Office Promotes From Within, Welcomes New Hires

Four Sheriff's Investigators were sworn in during a recent ceremony, and three corrections officers have been promoted to Sergeant.

HACKENSACK, NJ — The Bergen County Sheriff's Office hosted a ceremony for four new hires and three people who were promoted internally.

Four sheriff's investigators were sworn in, and three corrections officers were promoted to sergeant during a ceremony held on the steps of the Hackensack Municipal Courthouse.

“I am proud to welcome four new members to the Sheriff’s Office and promotions for three Officers to the rank of Sergeants at BCSO. These new hires and promotions will have an immediate positive impact on our daily operations by continuing the efficiency of our workforce. We remain committed to providing an outstanding level of service,” said Sheriff Anthony Cureton.
