Bicycle Contest And Memorial Day Parade Announced For Wyckoff, Marchers Sought

WYCKOFF, NJ — The full details of Wyckoff's 2024 Memorial Day Parade and bicycle contest have been announced, and organizers are looking for marchers.

Participants in the Memorial Day Parade, which will take place on Monday, May 27, will assemble at 10:30 a.m. The parade will kick off at 11:30 a.m. at Cornerstone Church and head to Town Hall.

The Parade Committee is looking for groups and individuals who want to march, including veterans, schools, churches, scouts, and area organizations.

"A special invitation is extended from the Parade Committee to any Gold Star Mothers and to those young cadets and junior service men and women who would like to attend the veterans memorial service at Wyckoff Reformed Church, 580 Wyckoff Ave., at 10 a.m.," the committee said.

And kids are advised to decorate their bikes. Bicycle contest judging takes place at Fire Co. 1, normally after the parade.

Before that, a firefighters' service takes place at 8:45 a.m.
