Cargo Van Crashes Into Wyckoff Backyard, Destroying Shed: Police

Police say a cargo van was driven off of Route 208 before crashing into a Wyckoff backyard. No one was injured in the accident.

WYCKOFF, NJ — A backyard shed bore the brunt of a Thursday accident in Wyckoff, police say.

The driver of a southbound Nissan cargo van drove off Route 208, and into a residential backyard on William Way, according to police.

Residents of the home reported that the vehicle had crashed into their yard around noon.

The driver, a 49-year-old Elizabeth woman, was uninjured in the wreck. She told police that she was cut off while driving, and ran off the road because of it.

Members of the Wyckoff Fire Department removed the damaged shed from around the vehicle so it could be removed from the property.

The Wyckoff Police Traffic Bureau are investigating, and no charges have been filed.
