Christian Health Care Center Features Yoga at its 28th Annual Golf Classic
Wyckoff, NJ … Christian Health Care Center (CHCC), headquartered in Wyckoff, will introduce Yoga as a new feature at its 28th Annual Golf Classic on Monday, June 12, 2017, at Knoll Country Club West in Parsippany (GPS address: 12 Knoll Lane, Boonton, NJ). In addition, a women’s golf clinic, a special Health & Wellness Showcase, and a 9-hole morning golf play have been added to its traditional day of golf, fun, and fellowship.
“We are excited to partner with Christian Health Care Center and its 28th Annual Golf Classic,” said Michele O’Shea, owner of O’Shea Yoga in Wyckoff. “Introducing yoga as a new component this year adds to the Center’s health, healing, and wellness mission. Our customized yoga session will be appropriate for all skill levels and will contribute well to golfers of every stage, age, and gender. As a Wyckoff business, we share in the Center’s commitment to caring for the community and look forward to deepening our partnership with Christian Health Care Center.”
Michele O’Shea is the owner of O’Shea Yoga, a boutique studio, located in the heart of Wyckoff. With a 75-minute customized yoga session appropriate for all levels, and an added option to participate in a 90-minute women’s golf clinic instructed by Knoll Country Club Golf Pro George Ancuta, CHCC looks to promote and foster health and wellness throughout the day. All yoga participants and golfers, will come together for the dinner program.

The 9-hole Golf Package for $175 includes greens fees, golf cart, putting contest, hole-in-one cars, golfer’s gift, and barbeque lunch. Registration is at 9 a.m. for a 9:30 a.m. tee-off for the 9-hole morning play. The yoga and women’s golf clinic packages for $100 also includes dinner and door prizes, and registration will begin at 1 pm.

Two shotgun starts are offered for the full 18-hole golf play beginning promptly at 7:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. The 18-hole Golf Package starts at $275, which includes greens fees, continental breakfast at 7 a.m., a golf cart, putting contest, barbecue lunch starting at 11:30 a.m., hole-in-one cars, dinner and awards program beginning at 6:30 p.m., golfer’s gift, and door prizes.

Each year, volunteers from the Golf Classic Committee organize the annual outing for CHCC. The committee is co-chaired by Rick De Bel and Edward Nieuwenhuis Jr., DPM. Committee members are Darcy Bickert, John Gunther, Bill Haggerty, Don and Marion Klingen, Julie Lee, Bill Munn, and Gordon Stanley. Proceeds from the 28th Annual Golf Classic support Christian Health Care Center’s 2017 Annual Fund.
Michele O’Shea is a certified Yoga Teacher with close to 500 hours of Teacher Training and is registered with the Yoga Alliance. She discovered yoga during her first trip to India in 2012 and has been fully immersed in it since then. In addition, Ms. O’Shea is a Professional Life Coach in her 10th year of private practice. She specializes in self-esteem enhancement.
