Christian Health Care Center (CHCC) in Wyckoff recently honored many veterans

Christian Health Care Center (CHCC) in Wyckoff recently honored many veterans both living and working on campus at a Remembrance Service, and approximately 100 employees and family members gathered to pay tribute to the many men and women who served in the United States military.
Douglas A. Struyk, CPA, LNHA, CHCC President and CEO, welcomed guests and read names of 60 current residents and employees who served time in the military.
“As we celebrate and honor the many freedoms that define America and make it the land that we love, we are blessed at CHCC to provide care for so many veterans that gave of themselves to protect those freedoms,” said Mr. Struyk. “We thank God for their courage and bravery, and are humbled by their stories of service and devotion to our flag and country.”

The introduction of Veterans Day dates back to November 11, 1918, after fighting had ceased in World War I. President Wilson recognized the day in 1919, and later on June 1, 1954, November 11 became a day to honor American veterans of all wars.
CHCC is proud to honor all veterans residing at the Center, as well as the employees who work here.
CHCC provides a broad continuum of high-quality, compassionate care, offering superior senior-life, short-term rehab, and mental-health services. As a non-profit organization, we deliver Person- and Family-centered Care to our community based upon the Christian principles on which we were founded more than a century ago.
