Christian Health Care Center's 28th Annual Golf Classic
Wyckoff, NJ ... Christian Health Care Center (CHCC) in Wyckoff recently held its 28th Annual Golf Classic at the Knoll Country Club in Parsippany, raising more than $128,000. The event attracted 135 golfers and 21 dedicated volunteers on a very warm but picturesque day. Proceeds from the 28th Annual Golf Classic will support Christian Health Care Center’s 2017 Annual Fund.
Corporate sponsors included Atlantic, Tomorrow’s Office, Pharmscript, Patient Care Associates, Kuiken Brothers Inc., and WB Mason. Aramark, Cornell Surgical Supply, Eventus Strategic Partners, Jeffer Hopkinson & Vogel, New Jersey Respiratory Associates, Shotmeyer Bros., The Rasa Group, and Wayne Tile were Platinum Sponsors. Windels Marx Lane & Mittendorf was the Front Nine Sponsor.
New this year was a health and wellness showcase; 75-minute customized yoga session for all skill levels provided by Michele O’Shea, owner of O’Shea Yoga, Wyckoff; and 90-minute golf clinic instructed by Knoll Country Club Golf Pro George Ancuta. These new additions to the tournament were very well received as guests enjoyed perusing the health and wellness booths, brushing up on their golf game, and enjoying the ancient practice of connecting mind, body, and soul through yoga in the quiet and cool shade of the country club grounds.

“We were so excited to partner with O’Shea Yoga in Wyckoff this year to add a new layer to our golf outing,” said Julie Lee, Senior Vice President of Community Development and Marketing Services at CHCC, “Introducing yoga as a new component as well as a special women’s golf clinic added greatly to the Center’s health, healing, and wellness mission, and gave us an opportunity to welcome a new audience of guests and participants. Christian Health Care Center’s longstanding and well-established presence in Wyckoff continues to resonate with so many people in our community. We are so grateful to Michele O’Shea for leading yoga which took place in a warm, shaded outdoor area. We look forward to growing this special part of the program next year, and enriching participants with yoga through our collaboration with O’Shea Yoga.”
The evening culminated with an awards dinner program and a silent auction.
