Co-Worker Stole $1,100 From Wyckoff Employee's Car: Police

The co-worker was the only other person who knew the cash was in the vehicle, police said.

WYCKOFF, NJ — A co-worker stole $1,100 out of a man's vehicle Aug. 6, police said.

The man said the money was in an envelope in his glove compartment. It was for an upcoming vacation, Lt. Joseph Soto said.

The man said the only person who knew the money was in the car was the co-worker, Soto said.

Police investigated and Mark A. Nether, 30, of Paterson was arrested, Soto said. He was charged with burglar and theft.

Nether was processed and released from police custody pending a court appearance.
